This course introduces Process Work theory that concerns human diversity. We’ll learn and practice Process Work tools especially suited to work with differences and conflicts. We’ll take time to explore our own contexts: relationship, family, clinical setting, team, organization, community or social movement in order to apply Process Work concepts and practices and our growing awareness to these specific areas. This online class includes lecture, discussion, assigned reading and homework, and experiential exercises.

Bill Say brings over twenty years of experience to the intersection of diversity awareness, conflict resolution and community building including work in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. His consulting and training experience is with organizations and community groups in the US and abroad including with Alameda County Human Resources, Cities of Berkeley and Richmond, Highlander Research and Education Center, UC Berkeley School of Engineering, and UN refugee health organizations in the Middle East (UNRWA). He is a faculty member of the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco and a former faculty member of the UC Berkeley Extension School of Professional Communication. Bill is a Mindell Process Work Diplomate.
