Unfolding the Body with Maraya Karena

ABOUT THIS SESSION

Innerwork is a journey inward, a dance with the shadows of the mind. It is the art of self-inquiry, a path to deeper understanding and self-awareness. Through the practice of innerwork, we can attune to the subtle vibrations of the body, the whispers of the heart, and the whispers of the soul. We can learn to listen to the wisdom of our own experience, to find the courage to face our fears. Innerwork is a journey of unfolding, of becoming more fully ourselves, of finding the courage to be fully alive. It is a path of transformation and growth, a path of courage and grace.

The Gift of Innerwork in Hot Moments with Ingrid Rose

ABOUT THIS SESSION

What do we do in moments when we’re under attack, get dreamed up, or freeze? Especially in group situations, both as facilitators and participants, the challenge here is to somehow find a way to hold on to a little bit of awareness that can allow us to process internally and find some clarity or insight,  bringing forward a secondary aspect of ourselves and the group dreaming. Lets explore together the inner work tools and techniques that will enable us to harness these gifts.

Innerwork Exercise: Unfolding your Experience to discover an intervention

1. Think of a situation/event where you were thrown into a somewhat altered state or not able to access your usual awareness. What created that for you? What was the most disturbing figure or expression present in that field, in yourself; in relationship; or in the group. Remember how you reacted to that.

2. Go back to that experience and enter the state that created for you. Take some time to be in that. Check your inner landscape and atmosphere using any awareness that is available to you in that moment.

3. Try to catch a body experience that you can notice. Bring your awareness to that and stay with it, amplifying it – give it more space, enlarge it, allow your whole body to take it on. Use posture and movement if that is needed. Go deeply into it.

4. What gift does that bring you in order to cope with the original situation. In other words, what quality, attitude, or way of being does that offer you now that you could have used in the challenging situation from (1). Imagine doing that in that scene.

5. How might that also be needed by the other(s) in that field? What dreaming does it bring?

Climate Hero YOUR Way with Hellene Gronda

ABOUT THIS SESSION

Climate change is real, it is escalating and it is scary. You know you need to make a difference. But you don’t have time or energy for fighting with big forces that don’t even seem to care, or with people who just don’t get it. What if you could be a Climate Hero YOUR Way? What if you could really feel that you were making a difference?  Join me for the Climate Hero YOUR WAY guided innerwork session to practice a dynamic mindfulness technique for transforming power struggle into empowerment. Not by bypassing the fight (that doesn’t work), but using the natural process of conflict as a resource to access a deeper source of energy, a renewable energy source.

Use this practice to find the deepest place to come from in your actions to address the climate emergency, to make your difference, and to feel part of the bigger picture, the process of evolution that is trying to happen.
