TAKE AWAYS
As facilitators, we all encounter moments when we’re unsure of what to do. In response, we often try to work harder to help the client, but this can lead to more confusion or dissatisfaction. In this supervision class, you will learn the importance of slowing down during these moments through a combination of short lectures and supervision.
Ayako’s focus is on individuals and couples, and supervision will focus on indiviuals and couples (rather than families or organizations).
If you’re interested in presenting a situation, please write a brief description and email it to Ayako. Due to time constraints, not everyone will have the opportunity to present in the class.
Ayako has a style of teaching and counselling that melds her rational, scientific side, and her creative, intuitive side, supporting our collective growth and development. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn from this gifted teacher.
