ON ADAPTING TO LIVING IN CHAOS

Discussion

What would you do if your world changed and there was nothing to orient you to reality? Three facilitators in Ukraine were in that position when the war started. They wanted to do something and started facilitating group processes every two weeks for Ukrainians in Ukraine and abroad. It’s been three years, and they haven’t stopped, and will share their life experiences as individuals and a team.

They will talk about what they did to cope when everything is changing, and everything is a hotspot. Events in war are deeply personal, and are also bigger than any individual.  Working together as a community, they found common roles, like dealing with death, and community support.

Anton Yermolenko, Serhiy Riabchuk, and Yuliya Filippovska are the PW diplomats and co-leaders of the Deep Democracy Institute Ukraine (DDI Ukraine), a hub for practicing and learning ProcessWork and Deep Democracy. Originally from Mariupol and Odesa, Vinnitsya, and Kyiv, they live as refugees in different European cities.

From them, you can learn how to find our own path in chaos. Your process will be different, we all find our own way through war, historical transformations and revolution – experiences that upend life as we know it.But their wisdom and experience following difficult processes in a war still in progress, are invaluable as advice, as experience and as people following their process.
